National Land Information Service (NLIS) Privacy policy

The NLIS website is managed by Land Data. We collect your personal data when you request, or enquire about, the provision of our services including advice, information on becoming a NLIS channel, news, events and awards.

- keep you up to date with Land Data, NLIS, industry news and changes in legislation
- tell you about NLIS services, give advice and guidance and keep you informed of events and news about the NLIS channels
- monitor online traffic patterns and how the Land Data and NLIS websites are used, this helps us improve our websites and communications to you.
We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes..
We may share your personal data with organisations affiliated to Land Data’s business for administration purposes only. These organisations are NLIS and its channel partners, the LGA, the LLCI and government departments when formally requested.
In some circumstances, we may monitor, record, store and use telephone, email or other communications we have with you for a number of purposes, including managing complaints, meeting regulatory responsibilities, training purposes and improving the quality of our customer service.
In some instances we use third party hosting sites such as Mail Chimp and Survey Monkey to collect and process your personal data. These third party suppliers guarantee the security of your data via their privacy policies and corporate terms.
By supplying your personal data to NLIS and Land Data, you are consenting to the processing of your data as outlined in this privacy policy.

We will process all unsubscribe requests within 5 days.

We use 'cookies' to enhance your experience of the NLIS and Land Data websites as follows:
- To facilitate optimal use of the websites, by means of a temporary 'session' cookie. These cookies disappear when your browser session ends.
